Andrew Xie
Software engineer studying CS at Maryland. Most recently interned at Google on the Zanzibar global authorization team.
Background
I'm a computer science student at the University of Maryland who likes building systems that have to stay correct under pressure - authorization, defense, networks. The common thread is software where the edge cases are the whole point.
Most of my work lives close to the hard parts: access control that can't quietly get it wrong, defense systems that have to hold up in the field, and infrastructure that stays reliable at scale. I care about the unglamorous details that decide whether a system actually works.
